At Trim-Lok, we are closely monitoring the developments of COVID-19 and its impact on our employees, customers and communities. We created this resource to help answer some of your frequently asked questions.

 

Is Trim-Lok still open?

Yes, Trim-Lok is still open with reduced hours of manufacturing. Trim-Lok is exempt from the California coronavirus shutdown guidelines under the section that covers “essential activities” as listed under manufacturers and suppliers. We carefully evaluate our manufacturing needs daily and are scheduling to meet the needs of our valued customers, while protecting the health and well-being of our employees.

 

How is manufacturing affected?

To confirm, Trim-Lok remains open and fully operational at its manufacturing facility in California. As a result of our reduced manufacturing schedule, custom profiles and made-to-order profiles may take longer to produce. Delays are minimal for in-stock items. Contact a Trim-Lok customer service representative to learn more about exact lead times.

 

How is shipping affected?

If the item is in stock, we can ship it in 1–2 days. If we do not have the item in stock, or it is a made-to-order item, customers may experience delays by up to one week. Contact a Trim-Lok customer service representative to learn more about shipping times. We appreciate your patience as we continue to operate productively while keeping our employees safe.

 

How is Trim-Lok supporting its employees at this time?

Trim-Lok is firmly committed to the health and safety of its employees, as well as keeping the lines of communication open with our customers and suppliers. We have engaged with our employees and provided detailed educational information on symptoms, transmittal, and safety guidelines. To ensure our employees’ health and wellbeing, we have:

  •   •   Suspended all in-person meetings
  •   •   Suspended all outside visitors and meetings unless deemed “business critical”
  •   •   Suspended all travel
  •   •   Implemented mandatory quarantine for employees who don’t feel well, have been in contact with a sick person, or have traveled recently
  •   •   Increased our cleaning protocols for surfaces, door handles, and public areas such as break rooms
  •   •   Implemented a mandatory six-foot distancing policy
  •   •   Provided face masks (PPE) to all employees
  •   •   Implemented a mandatory face mask usage policy while employees are on company property

 

Is Trim-Lok giving back during the pandemic?

Trim-Lok is proud to manufacture trims and seals for equipment used in industries working on the frontlines of the coronavirus pandemic, including the medical, fire and rescue, and military sectors. Additionally, Trim-Lok donated $10,000 for the purchase of a new ventilator at Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian of Newport Beach, California. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Trim-Lok CEO Gary Whitener understands it is vital that all medical facilities have access to needed equipment for the health and safety of their communities, patients, doctors and staff.
