About This RV Slide-Out Wear Bar
Trim-Lok’s All-in-One Wear Bar is designed to reduce motor stress, as well as protect the flooring in the high-friction zone along the interior floor of an RV slide-out. Flooring like carpet, wood, laminate and vinyl are vulnerable to damage and wear each time the slide extends and retracts.
Our RV slide-out wear bar absorbs that abrasion instead. Pair this with Trim-Lok’s All-in-One Flush Floor Pan for added insulation to prevent drafts and moisture around the edges when closed.
Wear Bar with Optimized Screw Placement
To improve the quality of the install and ensure a longer lasting wear bar, Trim-Lok redesigned the point where the screws secure the wear bar to the main floor. Instead of securing at a 45-degree angle, the screws now secure perpendicular to the floor.
This relieves tension and improves the way the slide room runs across the floor. With this redesign, the wear bar is easier to remove for servicing and repairs.
