Why Choose Stick-On Fender Flares?
We’ve designed our rubber fender flares to require no drilling or bolts—making installation quick and easy every time and effectively eliminating the risk of rust or corrosion at vulnerable drill sites. A variety of industries leverage peel-and-stick fender flares, from service and utility trucks to cargo trailers, automobiles, buses, shuttles and more. No matter your industry, Trim-Lok’s adhesive fender flares offer the right protection and grip for your application.
BENEFITS OF ADHESIVE FENDER FLARES
- Our signature push-on edge trim with internal aluminum wire carrier and gripping tongues provide an expert and permanent grip
- 3M automotive-grade bonded tape system provides permanent adhesion
- Lab testing shows that over 30 pounds of force per inch is needed to pull off Trim-Lok Peel-and-Stick Fender Flare
- This push-on adhesive fender flare eliminates the risk of rust or corrosion that can be caused from drilling and the use of nuts and bolts
RECOMMENDED BEND RADIUS
For optimum performance, we recommend installing Trim-Lok Adhesive Fender Flare on radiuses of 17" or greater. Applications with smaller radiuses may experience some waviness.

Peel-and-Stick Fender Flare Installation Instructions
Important: Read Before Installation
It is recommended to install adhesive fender flare at an ambient temperature for maximum adherence. Fender flare requires a 72-hour wetting-out period to come to full adhesion strength. Do not expose the application site to extreme cold or heat during that time.
Cleaning and Surface Preparation
It is critical to clean and prepare the application surface properly to remove all contaminates, including dirt or oil. Trim-Lok recommends using a cleaning solution comprised of one-part isopropyl alcohol and one-part water, a clean rag and the application of an adhesive promoter.
- Step 1:
Spray the cleaning solution and wipe with a clean rag. DO NOT use a dirty rag.
- Step 2:
Measure 1 inch from the rim of the substrate. Wear protective gloves and apply adhesive promoter. Allow it to dry thoroughly.
- Step 3:
Measure the substrate’s radial length. If needed, cut the fender flare trim. Allow extra material on each end. To cut through the fender flare, use a pair of wire cutters or straight edge clippers.
- Step 4:
Apply the stick-on fender flare to the substrate. The edge trim should easily push into place. DO NOT remove the peel-off liner. Once the fender flare has been pushed on, use your hand, a rubber mallet or a pneumatic hammer to tap the edge trim to ensure the fender flare is completely pushed on.
- Step 5:
Remove the tape liner in small sections. Use your hands to apply pressure where the tape adheres to the substrate. Repeat until the entire liner has been removed. Any buckles in the peel-and-stick fender flare can easily be manipulated into share with your hands.
