Co-Extruded Rubber Flap Seal

Co-Extruded Rubber Flap Seal combines two or more rubber materials (co-extrusion) with different hardness levels (durometers) into a single, seamless continuous profile to create a versatile Flap Seal that provides both flexibility for sealing and rigidity. The flexible flap presses against a surface to create a dependable seal, while the rigid section provides strength and secure attachment.

Overview

Co-Extruded Rubber Flap Seals are designed to provide both a strong attachment and a reliable seal. These seals combine a dense EPDM edge trim co-extruded with strong gripping tongues and internal aluminum metal clips with a softer, less dense EPDM rubber flap. This combination ensures the edge trim secures firmly in place while the flexible flap conforms to surfaces, creating an effective seal against moisture, dust, air, and other environmental elements. Co-Extruded Rubber Flap Seals are ideal for automotive, industrial, and other demanding applications where both strength and sealing performance are essential.
