About This EPDM Sponge Rubber Seal

D-Shaped EPDM Sponge Rubber Seal, measuring .312" (h) by .468"(w).

Use this adhesive foam weather stripping to seal and protect your desired application or as a self-adhesive door seal. Seal windows and storage compartments where you need to reduce drafts, insulate, and reduce vibration or noise such as on automobiles, boats or RVs. Available without tape or choose from two adhesive options:

3M™ BONDED TAPE SYSTEM

The BT option for your self-adhesive rubber seal provides the ultimate bond to the rubber and the ultimate bond to the substrate. It creates a moisture barrier and air-tight seal. With the highest peel and shear resistance, it can be used under high loads of stress and force. It has low initial tack for easy re-positioning during installation and needs 72 hours of cure time to come to full bond strength. It is rated for good heat performance between -20°F to 158°F.

3M™ Heat-Activated Acrylic Foam and Acrylic Plus Tape

STANDARD PRESSURE-SENSITIVE ADHESIVE

The HT option for your D-shaped EPDM sponge rubber seal is an acrylic-based adhesive. It works best when used to hold the rubber seal in place while installing in a static application or compressed between two stationary objects. It may be used in some light-duty dynamic applications against a variety of substrates. It is rated for good heat performance between -20°F to 158°F.

Custom order your .312" x .468” EPDM sponge rubber seal with HT standard pressure-sensitive adhesive, BT 3M tape, or no tape to meet a variety of needs and applications, including window seals, door seals and more. Our BT and HT color options include black and off-white. Our no-tape option is available in black. Choose from a single or dual roll depending on product type.
